We all know where this is going........

You guessed it back to the field again this afternoon. I'm begining to wonder when it will all end. Not too may words tonight, I'm cream crackered. (knackered). Another 66 coins, 3 silvers, plenty of pennys including a young head Victoria 1875. And another sheriff badge. Grand total from this one field to date: 452 coins, 32 silvers, 196 pre decimals, 3 pieces of silver jewellery and 1 gold locket.


I'll Give it a couple of weeks for the steers to shorten some more grass and we will give it another go. Some of these pennys have been 8" plus deep so I figure there will be more missed small silver under the grass.

    What is the history of this field? Why does it have so many good targets?
