Drinks anyone?

Another quick hunt up at the park this afternoon, sort of 'commando' style through the bush. Not much to be had today, one old penny, an aluminium silk stocking tin from around the time of WW2 and a couple of bottles of booze. The booze is a first for me, I'm used to findng plenty of empty bottles and their caps but have never found an unopened bottle before.

    Hmmm. Silk stockings or condoms?
    Condom tins are quite collectible.

    That's the sort of bottle caps I wouldn't mind finding - ones still attached to full bottles!

    Yes you are quite right Chris, it is a condom tin, I managed to open it and there was the remains of a condom still in the tin. (unused!) That prompted me to recheck another similar tin I found, different brand but also a condom tin. I would guess they were from around the time of WW2.

    Oh good. It just seemed too small for stockings.
    Those tins are worth something to collectors.
