I started detecting in September 2010 using a second hand Bounty Hunter Quick Draw 2. I found lots of coins and junk jewellery but soon realised I needed to upgrade to something better. I now use a Fisher F4, bought in November 2010.
After last nights success with digging the 'iffy' signals at the park and finding those 2 nice lockets, I was keen to go back again and prove out my theory....................... the results speak for themselves. Another 9 copper nickel old decimal coins, 3 really deep $1 coins, a penny, a stainless steel ring and this little beauty......all 18 carats of her!

By the way you can stop doing the happy dance now..... Nah on 2nd thoughts that finds good enough to keep going for awhile longer :)
