I started detecting in September 2010 using a second hand Bounty Hunter Quick Draw 2. I found lots of coins and junk jewellery but soon realised I needed to upgrade to something better. I now use a Fisher F4, bought in November 2010.

More shiney stuff!
Beautiful clear skys this morning, so went out for a quick early morning hunt, once again back to an old favorite spot for some cherry picking amongst the ring pulls. Managed to come up with these beauties..... an Edward VII florin, a 1917 3d and a 1912 1/2 penny. Suffice to say, I'm as happy as Larry this morning. Hope the good weather and good luck keeps up for the rest of the weekend.
